The area I live most dogs aren't on heartgard...heartworm is not a problem around here (in AZ). Next month we are traveling to CT, so I know the dogs there are on heartgard, so I wanted to make sure she is protected...
Gizmo gets a little bit of an upset belly with the Heartgaurd. However, I agree with the vet. If it's still in issue then take in some poop to make sure there isn't some bigger issue.
I would still have her on some type of protection, regardless of other dogs aren't. Just for safety's sake!
