| My boy has the black spots around his area too. They started out as tiny white skin tag looking bumps which changed to blackhead like areas because of his constant licking. My vet said to use neosporin plus and to wash the area several times and to make sure he is not licking the area. She said licking the infected area causes bacteria to spread through the skin by mixing saliva with the bacteria. The spots remain on him so I am not sure this is working very well but he has stopped licking because of the neosporin plus. I hope this is helpful! :c) |
