This convo reminds me of when I went to college decades ago. My school had a reputation for being full of rich spoiled kids. I was pretty spoiled but not rich and was totally clueless about designer labels. To me, a purse was something you spent maybe $10 to buy. My neighbor in the dorm showed up with a designer purse, which I didn't recognize as such - I thought it was ugly two-toned brown, looked more like plastic than leather, and didn't understand why you would want somebody's initials all over your stuff. Needless to say, she never tried to impress me with how rich her daddy was again.
I still don't want somebody's initials all over my luggage, or on my rump, for that matter. |
