Read the reviews.. Over the years I have realized when it comes to kitchen counter appliances, I stick to cuisinart/Kitchenaid for reliability... yes this is my personal opinion, and to date, I have yet to be let down.

I have the one with the Stainless Steel Caraffe....love it because it keeps the coffee hot without keeping the hotplate on

One thing that one has to remember is that frequent deep cleaning is necessary.

I owned Capresso's for about 16 years....loved it....but a bit pricey. And their warranties are the best.
