Find something to do while you wait to make the time go faster. I went grocery shopping so I wouldn't have to leave Andy for a few days (He was fixed and 19 baby teeth pulled at the same time) I went to pet store and made sure I had everything he would need plus a new stuffed animal for being a brave boy. Washed all his little blankets so everything would be clean and fresh.
Then I sat and waited and waited for phone call. I hated that time frame lol
