I just wanted to add my history with Theophyline. We have a Pom who just recently turned 8 and she has been taking theophyline all of her life. She has a partial collapsed Trachea and Asthma. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that prolonged use does mess with the kidneys. Our vet does bloodwork and tests her urine every year to keep an eye on her kidney functions.
