I did a little digging too and I noticed these posts, but I was still genuinely confused as to why someone would refer to a pup as "new" after a year. It is just strange to me. Still is even after she explained why in her other thread. I mean technically it is true that Bella is newer than Polo, but still an odd way to put things in my opinion.

Perhaps the OP could start referring to Bella as her other pup or something like that? That way people won't get confused.
