In all of the pictures with the painted woodwork the rooms look so fresh, clean and modern. I love the look...I'm just a little afraid it won't look good in *my* home......

I usually love the look of stained wood if it's the wide base boards that you usually find in older homes or if it adds to the architectural detail of the home, but mine is not like that. I saw an article that had three questions to ask yourself:

Is the wood builders stock pine or poplar wood?
Do the wood add to the architectural look of the home?
Is your home dark?

I flunked all three so I should paint........hhmmmm
