Omg

You've gotten some great advice here already. Only thing I would add is to realize it's a great learning experience for Pnut. You'll only be gone for 3 days, and he'll learn the world doesn't end. I've found that my trips away help turn them into more confident dogs. Our recent one-week trip was proof. The live-in dog sitter got sick and had to leave, and two other couples cared for them in their homes while we were away. When we returned, I was delighted that neither dog was stressed. In fact, they didn't even get overly excited to see us return. It showed me that they had matured enough to handle changes without getting overly nervous. Your short trip is a great baby step in that direction.

So enjoy yourself and realize it's a positive thing for both you and your dogs!
