That definitely sounds like an infection versus an allergy. The treatments will be different depending on whether it's fungal or bacterial. It will most likely require skin scrapings and cultures.
Something to think about. I know she stinks, but bathing TOO frequently breaks down the acid mantel of the skin and leaves it more vulnerable to infections.
