There are a lot of reasons for poop eating according to various sources. Most poop eating has no link to nutrition. I did a lot of research on the matter and in most cases it is just a behavior. However, it can be linked to an extremely poor diet.

Rylie is on a good, high quality, grain free, low protein food. My vet agreed with my research and assured me that it is a phase she may grow out of (and I've read the same thing on YT). According to her, it is a common behavior in all dog breeds and it occurs most often when they are puppies. She also said there is nothing I can do for her health/diet wise to change the behavior. YT's pineapple suggestion has worked to a great degree though, but like I said the behavior isn't completely eliminated.
