That poor little furbaby!! It must feel terrible to be itching with inflamed skin and have to sit and smell yourself! Have you contacted the Rescue to see if they noticed a problem or if their vet noticed anything? I would take her to the dermatologist that was recommended here on this thread. I worked in human medicine for many years (now I'm dating my old self!), and sometimes one dr will be able to think of something that another one couldn't (especially if they are dealing with a rare presentation of a disease process). You may need to bathe her once a day with a medicated shampoo for a while...but what a small price to pay for the most loyal friend you will ever have on this earth. Illness touches all of our lives....hopefully when (I would say if, but it's been my experience we all eventually feel illness for ourselves) sickness befalls you (if it has not already) your caregivers will go to the same great lengths to help you in your time of need. Wishing you two the best!!! Please keep in touch and let us know how you make out. We will keep you two in our prayers.
