Normal blood sugar in a dog is between 70-110. High blood sugar plus excessive thirst and dehydration are classic symptoms of diabetes. Untreated diabetes can make a dog very sick which may explain his symptoms.
I am amazed that they didn't hospitalize him and give him IV fluids to rehydrate him. |
