When you take on a pet you take them on for better or worse and you agree to care for them. Yes, they give us so much, but we HAVE to be their caregivers, they cannot take care of themselves. I have driven all over the state, spending whole weekends in unknown cities just to visit vets with my youngest. If you keep running into dead ends with the same vet, you need to find another vet, find a specialist, find someone who will help you. Find a big time specialty vet hospital, they will send you from vet to vet, doing test after test, and not let you leave for hours or days until they find an answer.
