Loll yes, Indian weddings are INSANE!!!! We have all kinds of ceremonies.
Day 1-grooms sides ladies come to bride and gives bride 7 outfits
Day 2-Brides brother goes to grooms house to get good luck for couple
Priests bless both bride and groom, official indian marriage certificate is written
Day 3-Each side has parties to celebrate their families and bride and groom get pampered (mani/pedi/facials etc)
Day 3 night-each side has parties to have henna put on all the ladies hands (temporary decorative tattoo) Bride gets most elaborate henna done
-Day 4-bride and groom throw massive entertainment night when there are live singers, bands, dancers and at the end of the night everyone dances their butt off
-Day 5- Wedding in morning complete w/ groom's arrival on horse
Reception in evening.....party time!!!!!!!!!
