I know you don't want to hear this, but Cindy is right. 5 weeks is tooooo early to take a pup from its mother. Crucial learning takes place at this age about life as a dog. Nothing you do can replace this learning.

Is there any way that the breeder will keep your pup longer? I know you are anxious to get that little bundle of love, but it will be well worth it to wait!
