I have all the free time I need. That is alot of money to spend for the lawn. My hubby usually edges because I can't get a straight line if it killed me. lol It takes me about a 2-3hrs to do the front and the backyard. Most of the time in the summer I just leave the clippings on the lawn for mulch so I don't have to bag it. That is the worst part for me is emptying the darn bag. But otherwise I really dont mind doing it. Usually the kids are in the pool so I splash my face and take breaks. The babies are usually running around back there also.
It is nothing like your compressor story. $25-$35 a week adds up to alot of money!! Even if it is for about 10 weeks in the summer that is $250-$350 a summer In 4 years that is $1000-$1400 for grass!!!
