Yes and no, depends on what your free time is worth to you... For my yard it takes 2.5- 3hrs by myself to do... I have this discussion every year... that is time I could be on the beach, or on the water... so like most things in life it is a subjective thing.
Kinda like this scenario, up here in the North we have to have our sprinklers blown out in the winter... it generally costs 50-60 per year... Why pay that, when I can buy my own compressor for 200, and in 4 years I will be in the positive..
Now, just make sure you bank that money!!!
