Love the pictures it appears you found a little gem and my bet it is someones pet. I am glad you are taking him to a vet to have him checked over, make sure they scan him for a micro chip.
Thank you for taking this little guy in, I bet he thinks he got lucky when he wandered into your life.
Do you plan on keeping him until you find his owner (and if you find his owner)? You may have mentioned it and I just didn't see it.
