The problem with cat food is the high protein content. What kind of health is Winston normally in? What kind of blood tests has your vet run on him in the past? How are his kidneys? How often is he having the loose stools? How long ago did he eat the cat food?
If he is at all dehydrated (light gums) I would take him to the vet right away. If he starts to vomit in addition to the loose stools get him to the vet. If he becomes lethargic get him to a vet.
Small dog's systems are very sensitive (as I'm sure you know) and if Winston is at all prone to kidney problems he should be seen right away by a vet (just to be safe). If nothing else the vet can give you something for the runny stools and piece of mind. |
