Thank you for taking in this little guy as you look for his owner. After you check to if he is chipped I would call the shelter and your police office to see if anyone lost him. Also look at your paper and craigslist.I'm sure his family is looking for him.
Just be careful that someone doesn't just say he is theirs as alot of people would like a yorkie or to sell him.
