We, too, here in the D/FW area have gas mining and many concerns about its safety but I worry about all the risks attendant to simply running out of energy - or it bring priced so high that everything skyrockets in costs.
Trouble is, the poor are the first to feel the pinch - they have no resources such as many of us who've had good lives and can weather inflation with just cutting back on some collecting, traveling, expensive restaurants, etc. When a gallon of milk costs $6.00 because energy costs have driven grocery costs up, a poor family will suffer.
