Darwin is just about 2 and Mabel is just under 1. We feed only dry food and give dentabones every few days. Is it necessary to brush teeth? Do all Yorkies have problems with their teeth or is it only those that are fed soft food and lots of treats? They hate having their teeth brushed and I would love to hear from anyone with experience. I've had larger dogs and cats and none of them EVER had teeth problems. Any older yorkies that have great teeth when they get older that weren't brushed - or is it just wishful thinking?
