Well, I am praying for both of you to get your jobs. A job 2.5 miles from one's home is a dream location and sounds really perfect as far as so much less in travel time, expense and frustration and will add so much to your quality of life with all that time on the road spent home with your baby, shopping, kicking back and reading. Plus, you will likely be more appreciated as most jobs closer to home are in smaller communities that are hungry for experienced and smart workers. I pray you just knock their socks off when they speak with you.
