Cesar took forever to housebreak (Compared to past dogs who trained themselves by 10 weeks), about 7-8 months old.
The last couple months he has started to go into the basement to poop. He won't pee and he doesn't poop anywhere else but the basement.
I am kind of stumped as to what to do about this myself. I went downstairs the other day and he followed me down and I said "Cesar!"
He looked at me and I just pointed to the poop and said "What's this?"
He darted up the stairs like a bullet on speed.
They say dogs don't know what they did after it happens, but I swear he knew it was his and he knew it was bad. |
