I have an interview on friday for a job that is 2.5 miles from my house. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I really need to get out of my company. I think we are going to have more layoffs soon. I am not afraid to get laid off but its so bad here I watch others terrified of it. It makes me sad. I just want to get out, and maybe that will spare someone else's job. I am tired of my commute and tired of being shoved where they need me, taking paycuts and not getting any sort of raise at all. 4 years with no raise and over 3 years with paycuts. With a 40 mile each way commute and almost $4 a gallon in gas, its just not working for me anymore.
