That is really smart of you that you scheduled the shots on a different day than the procedure. For high risk vaccine reactions, my vet gives them a shot of Prednisone with the vaccine to help reduce possible reaction, and he keeps the dog at his office for 4 hrs post shot for observation at no charge.
