They gave us all the worst case senario's talking about him possibly being a shunt baby??? Thats another thing that ive never heard of and may possibly have questions about in the near future... So they are keeping him for treatment he is on iv fluids and fluids to get his sugars back up to where they are supposed to be... They will also be running a panel of bloodwork and xrays to see if there are underlying problems besides the coccidia... I can not thank you all enough for your prayers and concern for our little doodle... And the responses i got back really touched my heart what a wonderful community this is for our new little guys and gals and their new and apparrently clueless owners like myself lol... I am learning as i go and id like to thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart and please keep our baby in your prayers, thats what is going to make him bettter <3  |
I am so sorry. I went through a similar situation in December with my first Yorkie puppy. She had giardia and 2 days after I got her she began having seizures and ended up dying..those parasites are nasty things. It is good that you got your baby to the vet in time. There is hope for him! I will keep him in my prayers tonight.
