The house is definitely worth it! We were blessed to have his pepa (contractor) and his grandpa (masonry) help and save us tons of money. They both had their own businesses and still had their connections. We didn't contract out much, but we saved a ton on the things we did contract out. My daddy is a builder so I saved tons too. And it helps having a hubby who is a handy man!
I think we almost killed each other! lol
Good luck on closing! And your test. Next week mine will be over and I can start worrying about the scores.
