With the food issue, probably is due to the change unless you mix the new with the old a little bit at a time. Maybe cut back on portion of new food and mix in old and work up.

Potty issue is likely excitement due to visit of other dog and then regression due to the other accidents, wanting to potty where new scent is. Just clean the area with the odor removers, restrict the dog from getting to those areas, go on with usual potty training and he will come back to the previous point of training. Regression happens frequently for one reason or another but if we stay with training, one day they are fully trained.
