Chicken and rice is fine. Could have been the new treat. Could have been the puddle. As long as she isn't having enough episodes to start dehydrating, it probably won't hurt to wait a bit longer. If she is going 3 or 4 times a day and it is extremely soft or liquid, I'd be concerned about her hydration status.
Opinions do vary, but if a pup has diarrhea and a bland diet doesn't help, withholding food for 24 hours isn't harsh. Your vet can give her something if it continues. Pumpkin works for some and not for others. Makes issues worse here.
