Default bladder stone surgery - post condition??

My yorkie, had bladder stone surgery about 3 weeks ago. It was normal to have him pee a little blood for 3-4 days after surgery, which is expected.

But what wasn't expected is the CONSTANT urination. He cannot hold a lick of pee in his bladder anymore. He pees in bed EVERY night. When we go to work, we come back to about 5-8 piles of pee on the ground (thank goodness we have tile). We have him wearing diapers which really don't work. And he even tries to pee when there's nothing in his bladder (nothing coming out).

The vet said this is not normal at all. We took him back in and they took some urine tests to see if it's a UTI. Results are pending.

What else should we do? We have some friends that recommended seeing other vets. Can another vet find a mistake in the surgery, and/or a misdiagnosis? If so, do we sue? I don't know how this all works. I just want him back to normal.
