It was when he was in any position. I read somewhere that it could be a stomach acid and to give the dog a couple crackers (like low sodium saltines), so I did and he's fine now. I know he wasn't feeling well - he went and slept under the bed for awhile, which he does not do unless he's being mischievous or if he's not feeling well. He's okay right now. He's sleeping on the bed and he's not squeaking any more.
