I'm sorry about your baby's paws. I think you might need to have your vet see her. I walked with my little girl a great deal, and she never had any problems. Her pads seemed fine. One day I let her pace for a few minutes (she was almost 17 and had dementia) on our brick patio. It was no longer than five minutes and I saw everything she did. The patio wasn't hot but the surface of the bricks are not smooth. Normal walking on the bricks never bothered her before. Her pads started to bleed, and I had to allow them to heal. I was very careful after that. You can try bag balm until you are able to see your vet. I don't know the surface you are walking on, but that could be the problem. Otherwise, I'd worry about what was causing it medically. I definitely would have bought Ashley boots or shoes had I known about them. They are also great if the road is hot. Below is a link to Karen's (AllDogBoots) site. She's a valued YT member, and I know she'd be very helpful. I hope her paws heal quickly.
