 Sick Baby , I need support
Some people laugh at the way I worry about 11 year old Yorkie. Three weeks ago myself and my wife were out of town when we received a call from my mother in law at 3 am in the morning, Angel our 11 year old 3 pound Yorkie was having a Grand Mah seizure. She was rushed to the Vets and he had to use Valium to get her to calm down plus various shots for a 107 Temp. After a couple of days of test it was determined that her liver functions were way off which intern infected her brain. For 11 days she has been on Liver medication named Demamarin to get the functions right, The Vet stated after 30 days the meds will have her Liver functioning properly. She is also on a fourth of a tablet of Primadone twice a day forever for seizures.
After 11 days she stumbles around like she is drunk or confused, then 5 minutes later she will bark and run across the backyard because someone is waking by the fence. Has anyone else been through this. Maybe I am not giving the meds enough time. Thanks, Depressed 57 Year Old Biker in Louisiana |
