Hi everyone,

I have been searching on google for some answers to this question and came across your forums. . . Unfortunately so far I have not been able to find a definitive answer, hopefully one of you can help me out!

My yorkie's water broke almost 2 hours ago now. . . Immiedietely after the water broke she laid right down and has been just taking it easy (she has been getting up and moving from place to place but not looking aggitated). . . She has been panting and breathing heavy but not pushing. . . If I didn't know any better I wouldn't even think she was in labor right now.

Given that it has been 2 hours since she passed the water sack, I am beginning to wonder if I should be worried about her and the puppies. Is this normal?? How much longer should I wait before getting her to the vet?

If anyone could help me, that would be SO appreciated. I just want a little piece of mind that what's going on is normal and I don't need to be stressing out!
