I battled over this same decision when I purchased my bag. I ended up going with the Alex. I am very pleased with it. I like having the pockets because I use them for my purse items such as checkbook, cash, drivers license, etc. That way I don't have a purse and the carrier. In my opinion, I thought the Alex might hold up a little better but I don't know that for sure. Are you going to purchase from Ryan or someone else?
