Seems I read, somewhere, if a pup has a nice firm stool, that the anal glands will take care of themselves, when they have a bm...I don't think Apple has ever had her anal glands expressed, and she's 2 1/2 yrs. old...That also goes for Buzz (2 in July) and Cha Cha (just turned 2)...They're all on primal raw...Needless to say, if they get impacted, they have to have this done...I, personally, would only let a vet do this, and not a groomer... |
