My vet told me that she had a lady that had non-anesthetic cleaning done on her dog every other month for years and the dogs teeth were white. But half of the dogs teeth were pulled when she went in for a dental with the vet because the teeth were cosmetically white but below the gums was gum disease and loose teeth!! I think you should save your money and get a full dental, and in the meantime use the products like Petzlife and Healthy Pet that help slow the plaque from forming.
