Hi there...I got Sassafras microchipped before I even brought her home. ( It was only an extra 30 bucks so I figured I couldnt go wrong). It has never been a problem so I HIGHLY recommend it! ALSO I have learned to make sure she is hooked up BEFORE I take her outside just to be on the safe side.
