I was going to suggest you make all your puppy homes take a kitten to go as a buddy for the puppy.
Momma kitty sure got lucky you "found" her. Now you are going to have to come up with a name for her.
And where in the heck did you find such a sweet husband? He MUST have every bit of a soft spot for animals as you have. Lucky woman!
