We haven't had any fleas in our home or yard for almost 10 years and my dogs eat mostly kibble and veggies, occasional cooked meat. I don't use any flea preventative except for something the yard man used several years ago in the fertilizer just once. My next door neighbor has 3 dogs and there are 2 dogs in the homes immediately across the alley, none of which is see scratching as if with fleas.
