Default How much white makes a parti?

I've been seeing a whole lot of parti talk around lately, and I happen to have a parti-related questoin of my own.

My Whitney has quite a bit of white on her neck/chest, and all the threads on the subject got me thinking, how much white can a yorkie have (how big can their "star" be) before they are considered a parti-yorkie as opposed to black/blue-and-tan/gold? I know that a small star on the chest is pretty common for most puppies, but Whitney's "star" starts right under her chin and goes almost to her stomach, stretching from armpit to armpit on her chest. It's all you see under her chin when she's facing you, and it's quite prominent! She also has quite a few white hairs mixed in with her gold on her chin. I know some of you ladies/gentlemen are very knowledgeable about the subject, so maybe someone can clue me in? Just curious! Thank you all.
