Lil Boo is going to a great home & I'm so happy about it! It's amazing how things just fell into place to get her from a bad situation to a great one...and I was a stepping stone on her journey.
She's going to a local family who lost their 3 year old yorkie, shortly after moving to a new home. They were having the furnace worked on and as the repair guy was going in & out to his truck, their yorkie got out. They've had fliers up & contacted vets, pounds, etc., but it's been a month & they've heard nothing. Their 12 yeard old daughter was devasted. The parents came to see Boo & adored her. So, they came back the next day & brought their daughter. She was literally in tears at the prospect of getting another yorkie. Boo was spayed yesterday at my vet. Worked out great for the family as the mom is a teacher & her school is on spring break this week, so mom & daughter are home with her. I told them about YT and they said they'd sign up so we'll still get to see pics of BooBear, whose name will now be BelleBooBear....Belle for short
