Rabies is non-existent in Hawaii....so an animal would enter a 6 month quarantine OR "fast tracked" with a quarantine of 1 - 5 days. In order to meet the requirements for the latter.... a rabies shot not less than 90 days before entering and then a blood test which must be completed 120 days out.
Puppy must also fly in cargo. They are taken directly from the airline to Hawaii's quarantine station.
