There are just too many that have been bred back to the yorkie and still are. They have been doing it for years so when AKC sees the pedigrees its going to stop them dead.
I know some of the clubs here believe only breeding biewer to biewer, but unless you had gotten all of them to cooperate before they started breeding back to yorkies you may have had a chance. |
You are probably right. So unless AKC (under YTCA recommendations) acknowledges tri-colored yorkies as being an acceptable color combination, I guess I'll just stick with my tan and blue yorkies. I do hope that one day AKC makes a place for a Yorkie(ish) blue/white/brown dog with strict requirements as far as color placement, -- just as there are for the tan and blues.
Please don't get me wrong, or think me rude, or a snob, I just believe that a club or organization is only as good as it's members - and since AKC is a CLUB, and I own AKC dogs, I am obligated to abide by the standard.
