If anyone I used to know is still hanging around here, you'll remember my Tetley, my love of my life. He's still doing great! Just as lovable as ever. He's 4 years old now.

This week, the breeder I got my love from was faced with a situation where she was boarding a dog for the winter while the owner went away on holidays, and unbelievably the owner decided not to come back for the dog. So a beautiful loving 5 year old female was abandoned and needed a new forever home.

Enter ME to the rescue! How could I say no to that lovable face with no family? She's a sister from another litter to my little guy.

I go get her next week - it's a train ride and a 6 hr car ride to get her to me, but I have to, I want to. I just hope my Tetley can find it in his heart to share his mommy with a new sister.

I am so excited, but worried at the same time. I don't want to upset Tetley. Does anyone have any advice on how to make this introduction go as smoothly as possible?
Love the name Tetley!! So cute but grown up at the same time.

I have always been told to take the resident dog out of the house. Then bring the new dog in. Let new dog sniff and explore for about half an hour the bring the resident dog back in.
