I neutered my boy earlier then I usually spay females because I was concerned about marking- I was very uneducated about the whole process and just did what my vet recommended and had him neutered at 6 months old- he also had four retained teeth removed at that time. I honestly wish I had waited a few more months and allowed those teeth to fall out on their own if they were going to. My Chloe's teeth fell out on their own by 8 months old.

However, with two boys in the house of the same age- I might be concerned that the marking would start earlier then normal and I might still get them done around 6 months old.
