I really believe you are hearing her little 'thump' - I actually believe they are always with us - when we lose one of our loved pets who are entrusted to us for their whole life - they do not leave us in death. They are still there and you just really may be hearing your precious Maggie - it's her little way of saying..."It's ok Dad - I'm still watching out for you even though you can't see me....."

Vilette, that was so beautiful what you said! I've lost two very special dogs in my lifetime and I do like to think they are around.
