If you want to quote one person, hit the quote button on their reply- it will automatically take you to the reply page with their quote - go above or below all the bracketed info and start typing- don't mess with the bracketed area or you will mess up the quoting function.
If you want to quote multiple people, click the button next to the the quote button in each persons reply. When you are ready to type your reply, hit reply and all their quotes will be on the reply page.
